Well, I got one of those In The Past Toys Civil War Collection. The Confederate uniform is nicely pressed but the iron must hard gotten too close to the buttons on the coat (mine had black melt marks on them). The coat's button holes are not big enough if they exist at all. Pants are very nice, however, there is no snap for the fly and again the button doesn't appear to have a hole. The vest is beautifully made but once more the...

First off I want to let you know that I do not have any other SS Civil war figures to compare to but I have seen many picture, comments, and I have other era's of their figures.

First off, the box was very well done as is all their boxes and every thing was packed in nice and tight. The headsculpt is very cool as it gives you that southern look. The hands were a different story. I could not get them on so I had to make the hole just a little bigger to make them fit.
Overall, I really like this figure. Aside from the uniform flesh tones that all Sideshow figures suffer from, he looks very good. The Kepi needs to be repainted as it is much lighter than the blue of the uniform, but this is an easy fix. The gauntlets, boots and spurs are excellent. The coat looks very good. The trousers are not the same color as the coat, but are still dark blue. I'm not sure if they are meant to represent trousers that have faded or that the trousers are supposed to...

A wood body that looks as if (it probably is) put together plank by tiny plank. Then strapped together with tiny, tiny brass straps and three teensy weensy strap holders, truly incredible.
From the Wolfman series, comes a Bela Lugosi headsculpt, with slightly redened eyes, a moustache, and a ring in one ear...(pirate potential)...I imagine his eyes burning from smoke on the battlefield. Clothed in an elaborate Hungaria/ Slavic style peasant costume with many kitbash possibilities...tall black boots...good for cavalry figure. Left hand has a ring on finger...another small detail for variety in my figure collection. Also has Tarot cards, and an old fashioned curved pipe, which...

Comes with a brown suit, Creme shirt, a paper deed for Carfax Abbey,a really nice old fashioned lantern and an old fashioned leather briefcase & a footstand. All these items could be used for various eras,...much kitbash potential. The headsculpt has a smile which might not lend itserlf to every situation...but it is definately another interesting Sideshow headsculpt.

One of them is "Nunchuk" - but why Hasbro picked this to be Nunchuk is beyond me...
The Nunchuk figure comes with a great indian headsculpt. That's the only reason I bought this guy!
The body is standard issue Hasbro, not the super articulated body. The head has a nicely done molded long hair.
