Hi Colonel, Nice looking horse! It looks like it is covered in sand... someone's been riding on the beach? You might wanna put a blanket under that
saddle, too! How do you afford all of these horses? They ARE beautiful.

Is this one of th4 FANASIX marmolite horses? It looks a lot like the ones Oscar(Tiger from barcelona) has used recently.
He replaces the tail and mane with DML horses hair and hides the base in a scenic base. This one seems to have the head turned a bit so it might be a different piece. Looking good! E |

Yes egonzinc this is a Fanasix horse from France.
Marmorlite the same as Stoneresin/Resinstone?? I´m not sure for the material. You can only make the fine fell structure with Pressure. I think is more a havy Plastic and built with highpressure. I´m not sure. egonzinc have you a link for the"Tiger from barcelona" Thanks Grierson |

Here is a link to a special gallery in the AUS forum of Oscar's work.
http://www.accionunoseis.org/viewforum.php?f=100&sid=10b0073585844d22834a83f38282e601 Above gallery I believe is an open area of the forum. Works that are posted int he forum, if they get certain number of comments and a certain average of valuations, are then moved to this gallery called "El Olimpo" of course The Olympus. A couple of the figures he has made with a similar horse: Notice how he integrated the base of the horse into a more for formal base int he first two. And he adds the tail and mane from either DML or the DID horse. The third figure is an earlier piece and he left the base that comes with the horse.
I'm not sure if he has ever posted here, I have told him to do so before. He also does ACW figures and does as with any perdiod a great job. Here are a couple of his ACW miniatures, the drums are from Berta in Germany:

Very nicely done figures and a welcome addition to the board. I love the Plains Indian with the flair bonnet and one of these days I want to attempt that with
real feathers.
His civil war figures are well crafted as well and it would be nice to see him post here as well. Andy |
